Meet Beirut’s Homeless Cats In a Series of Stunning Images

There are around 70 million stray animals in the U.S. alone, which means that this number doesn’t include those that are found in different parts of the world. Beirut is just one of the many countries that are dealing with the homeless cats and Bilal Salameh, a talented photographer from the country, managed to bring this to light with his stunning photos.

In a series of amazing shots, Salameh showed the world what it’s like for the average cat that doesn’t have a home and how they survive the streets of Beirut. The photographer even managed to capture shots of kind people extending their help to these creatures.

Bilal Salameh was curious about how cats in Beirut survive the streets.

What he found is that there are many of these homeless cats.

It’s a good thing, though, that these cats are being treated nicely.

Citizens feed the cats as early as 3:30 a.m.

People would wake up early to feed the homeless cats out in the streets. This only shows that there are people who would put an effort into making sure that these creatures don’t go hungry.

But even with people looking after them, these cats remain as they are – homeless.

The problem of homeless cats in Beirut goes on as you can see in this picture.

The cycle goes on with little kittens out in the streets. Many of them will not survive if they don’t get regular food and a shelter to be safe in.
