Four little sick kittens were trapped under a stairwell and it was only a matter of time before the situation becomes disastrous for them.
Residents in the area decided to contact a local rescue group in Los Angeles called Hope for Paws after realizing that they could not get the poor little fellas out of their current location. The cats were stuck after their mother gave birth to them under the stairwell.
The rescuers found all the kittens hiding behind a deep small space, which is impossible for anyone to squeeze into. According to the rescuers, the tiny kittens were not going to make it until they get them out of there. So they decided to do what they had to do.
The founder of the rescue organization Eldad Hagar did everything to make sure the kittens are safely out before it’s too late.
He was able to grab the first kitten, the second…
And then the third little thing.
When he was about to get the last kitten, he realized that it was blind and couldn’t see what was going on. Not only that, the fourth little fella was the sickest of all the kittens they rescued that day.
He kitten was clearly terrified and confused; however, Hagar used some debris to help him push the tiny cat toward him so he could pull him close enough.
Finally, he was able to carefully extract the poor thing out of that small space.
All those times, momma cat has been watching the group rescued all her kittens. Hagar and the rest of the team were also able to catch the homeless mother cat.
The four kittens and their mother were all sent to the veterinary hospital to get the medical attention that they need. The entire kitten family was treated for their infections.
Fortunately for the last rescued kitten, doctors at the hospital were able to fix his eyes and now he can see again.
All the kittens were given names – Cabbage, Arugula, Broccolini, Kale. Momma cat’s name is Parsley!
According to the rescue group, the entire feline family is now healthy and ready to go off to their loving furever families.
