When Phoebe Gill saw Stitch, a one-eyed Sphynx, she knew in her heart that she had to give her a home. Stitch’s injured her eye and it was supposed to be treatable with the right medication. However, her breeder didn’t have it checked and it then became worse. The breeder decided to give her up but the vet took Stitch in and operated on her eye.
Even though Stitch had only one eye, Gill saw how adorable she can be.
“[I] fell in love at first sight, and brought her home.”
“She had an injury to her eye, which would have been cured with medication…”
Instead of taking her to the vet, her breeder decided to just give her up!
Fortunately, the vet took her in and did the surgery to remove the cat’s eye. They had to do it to prevent further spread of the infection.
Despite her imperfection, nobody was going to stop Phoebe from adopting Stitch.
The dog lover said it was love at first sight.
Phoebe was all set to take in Stitch but there was one problem: how to make her dog get along with the new kitten. Surprisingly, the lady had nothing to worry about. Stitch felt comfortable and adjusted well to her new home.
What’s more adorable is that Stitch got along with Phoebe’s dog, Alaska, right away. She told Bored Panda:
“It used to be that Alaska (my dog) would follow me everywhere, toilet and shower included. Now, there are two. They eat together, sleep together, play together and I’m pretty sure if Stitch was allowed outside they would also poop together. I haven’t had Stitch long, but she’s brought so much love with her.”
The two became inseparable
Phoebe is a natural dog lover, but that did not stop her from giving Stitch the same amount of love she gave Alaska.
