Neo and Eenie were shelter buddies who bonded when they were just a couple of weeks old. Neo the little gray kitten was born in a shelter while Eenie was taken there. The little buddies were lucky enough they found a foster home where they will receive the care they need.

Neo and his two siblings turned up in one foster home while his friend Eenie ended up in another. It was great news for Neo’s siblings as they were adopted out successfully but it was a sad day for him for he was left behind.

Neo was born at the shelter after his pregnant mom was dumped there by her owners |Animal Allies of Texas”

When Neo’s foster mom took his siblings out to put them in a carrier and transport them, Neo cried endlessly, according to Animal Allies of Texas area coordinator, Marjorie Royal, who told the Dodo.

Royal said Neo cried all day and he would snuggle with his foster mom’s arm, assuming it was one of his siblings. That’s when rescuers knew what they had to do to stop Neo from feeling depressed.

A kindhearted volunteer family would drive an hour just to get Eenie to comfort the little gray kitten. Once Eenie arrived at Neo’s foster home, rescuers were not sure if they would recognize each other as the buddies from the shelter. They haven’t seen each other for a while.

But when Eenie and Neo met, there was no hissing. What’s heartwarming is that the two kittens immediately started playing with each other. They bonded in no time and Neo stopped his crying, Royal said.

“Animals indeed have huge hearts and they feel pain like everyone. We want these two adopted together. Neo is an exceptionally loving cat. He will not go through that again.”

Neo and Eenie are great together and they find comfort in each other. They’re wonderful and lovable kittens, and together, they surely won’t fail to capture somebody’s heart.

We at Dognmeows are hoping that both kittens will get adopted together.
