A tiny kitten was born with a rare heart condition that everyone, including the vets, thought she would not survive from for too long. However, this little girl wanted to prove everybody wrong as she tried her best to hold on to see another day.
Meet the adorable tiny kitten, Millie.
According to the cat’s lovely human family, Millie was born with a rare disorder called Tetralogy of Fallot, which is a fatal heart condition.
Millie was not supposed to survive birth but she turned out to be one perfect kitten.
“Millie is the most perfect kitten in the world,” Millie’s family wrote via imgur. “From the beginning it was clear something was wrong. She was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a heart condition with four serious defects.”
Despite the heart problem, Millie is such an energetic cat who loves to play with her siblings.
“She wasn’t supposed to survive birth but still made a good go at playing with her brothers.”
“At a month she was far too small for the ‘big cat’ bowls and the vets were sure she wasn’t going to make it.”
“Millie was always very playful but she kept getting out of breath and we were told she wouldn’t make it to six months.”
“Millie always bounds up to you when she thinks something exciting is happening… or there’s a chance for some tuna.”
“She’s much bigger now and can eat from the proper bowls!”
“For a few weeks she was very ill and just lay about gasping for breath… After a very worried night for us, staying up syringing water into her mouth, she started to improve a bit.”
Millie’s family did not give up on her, and after a year, she grew up to be a healthy and playful kitty.
Millie is a miracle cat who wanted to live to make her family happy.
She also loves to take short naps…
