Most of the time, it ends up in a heartbreaking story in which an indoor cat becomes homeless, then eventually becomes feral. In that case, they can become shy or even reject human contact. But there are times when cat lovers are privileged and lucky enough to earn the trust of these creatures.
Blondie was found by a shrub at a dead end street, just near a department store.
The homeless cat was rather shy and obviously had a difficult life.
Many stray animals feel lonely and scared of their surroundings, considering they got used to living around humans. They also need to do whatever they can to find shelter and survive.
But eventually, Blondie became curious that she got out of her comfort zone and engaged in human interaction.
The furry feline had an admirer who kept bringing her food.
Soon enough, the homeless kitty felt comfortable around the kind lady who befriended her. And then Blondie started welcoming human touch. But the kind woman waited for 14 months before she could touch Blondie.
When the woman took a good look at Blondie, she knew immediately that stray needed veterinary care.
Blondie was placed in a cage and somehow felt that she was betrayed.
But later on realized that she’s not in trouble.
The cat then started to relax as she waited for her turn at the vet.
Blondie has found a human to show her the love and care she deserved. It was a happy moment for her but she didn’t get to experience a happy ending that long. Blondie was found to have feline peritonitis and the vet did all that there is to do but can’t save Blondie.
After only a few days of going home to her new owner, Blondie passed away.
Although Blondie didn’t make it through many more years, it was comforting to know that she felt loved even for just a few days.
